They had a composite deck that was failing and a 3 season sunroom (also failing) that they wanted to be able to enjoy year round.
How did you solve the problem?
- Replaced the existing failing deck with a new mineral based composite structure with a simple patio walkway and granite steps
- Removed the existing screen porch and built a 4 season sunroom addition
Project Details:
Soon after building a wrap around farmers porch for these Clients, we were called back to to replace an existing three season room with a deck with a four-season addition and NEW deck. Effectively creating both an indoor and outdoor space where they could Kick Back and Relax.
Previously too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, the energy efficient four-season addition provided an adult sitting space designed for comfortable use year-round. A transition from the main house to the outdoors, the addition led to a [newly replaced] composite deck and hardscape patio area, perfect for entertaining.
