Description:

What problem did the client want to solve with the project?

The existing primary bath was very small and outdated.

How did you solve the problem?

  • Slight extension of space and we utilized a pocket door to maximize space
  • All white and bright colors with a wood vanity to soften the space
  • Frameless glass shower with curbless entry
  • Floating shelving (instead of cabinet)

Project Details:

Long standing Clients, these homeowners have worked with us to remodel each room of their home over time. Included in a primary bedroom remodel, this bathroom remains one of our favorites to date.

Our most significant challenge with this primary bathroom project was working with such a small footprint – which is why we extended it. The overarching design focus was to build in a way that opened the space and to utilize materials that made the room feel bright and airy.

To achieve an open seamless look, we built a custom designed curbless shower with frameless glass and a built-in niche. Keeping with the open look, we utilized floating shelves above the toilet and a pocket door to maximize space. To compliment the clean white design scheme, the space was softened with a wood toned vanity and oil rubbed bronze hardware.
