MERRIMACK, NH
Description:
What problem did the client want to solve with the project?
To start, the interior of this home was incredibly outdated and in need of extensive repairs (think cabinet doors falling off). Second, as with many split-levels of a certain decade, the main floor was very closed off and dark.
How did you solve the problem?
- Created two larger openings to help improve the flow of space between the kitchen and living room
- Completely remodeled the kitchen with a large slider
- Added under cabinet and overhead recessed lighting
- Continuous hardwood throughout the whole first floor
Project Details:
At the center of a split-level whole floor remodel, the Baboosic Kitchen project really changed the way this family was able to use and enjoy their space.
To be more conducive to family time and entertaining, we created a more open concept flow between the kitchen, dining and living room. Creating that open flow not only made the space look better but it really improved the functionality of the space as a whole. For a continuous look, we installed new hardwood flooring throughout the entire first floor level, LED recessed lighting and replaced the large slider onto the deck to bring more natural light into the space.
