MERRIMACK, NH
Description:
This multi-level composite deck in Merrimack, NH was designed to take full advantage of its stunning lakefront setting. With lakeside properties, usable land is often limited, so we built a tiered structure that expands the living space outdoors, creating multiple areas for relaxation, entertaining, and enjoying the view. The result is a deck that feels both expansive and seamlessly connected to its natural surroundings.
The deck was constructed with Deckorators Voyage mineral-based composite decking in Costa, a material chosen for its durability, low maintenance, and beautiful finish. To ensure strength and longevity, the structure was built on a Fortress Building Products steel framing system, complete with wrapped columns for a clean and polished look. Safety and style come together with the Keylink American Series aluminum railing, finished in crisp white with black balusters to frame the lake views without distraction.
In the evenings, In-Lite Global low-voltage lighting highlights the stair risers and under-deck spaces, creating both ambiance and safety. Beneath the upper deck, we designed a custom under-deck dry space system finished with a UFP Edge thermally modified wood ceiling in Glacier, transforming the area into a comfortable, weather-protected retreat that feels like an extension of the home.
This project is a true showcase of what’s possible with custom composite decking in southern New Hampshire. By maximizing the property’s footprint and designing with both function and aesthetics in mind, we created a lakeside outdoor living space that can be enjoyed from sunrise to sunset, season after season.
