MERRIMACK, NH
Description:
What problem did the client want to solve with the project?
There was an existing laundry area that abutted a pantry, but it didn’t flow well or fit the vibe of the house. The half bath across the hall needed to be updated too.
How did you solve the problem?
- Combined the two rooms to make one large pass through butler’s pantry with hidden laundry area
- Updated the existing half bath to reflect the same natural style as the rest of the house
- Custom built sliding barn doors to increase and improve the flow and usable space
Additional Details:
Previously two separate rooms, we combined the laundry and pantry space into one large walk through butler’s pantry. The overall design of the space incorporates natural woodsy tones and accents while providing proper flow and functionality. Other features include: custom built sliding barn doors, recessed lighting, overhead pendant lighting, under and above cabinet lighting, farmers sink, under cabinet microwave oven and custom hardwood floors.
Across the hall is a half bathroom that features the same natural aesthetic by incorporating reclaimed wood for the custom built vanity, live edge timber from the property for built-in shelving and a natural stone sink bowl. This project is truly one of a kind.
- Passthrough butler’s pantry, hidden laundry and half bath
