Yes! We are one and the same. After 30 years in business, we decided to change our name to Villandry Home & Outdoor Living in 2024 to reflect better the work we are now doing for our clients, which includes many decks, patios, pergolas, paver walkways, hardscaping, and dry underdecking areas.

As general contractors, we handle many finished basements and home remodeling projects. We also design and build custom decks, multi-level decks, covered decks, pergolas, patios, sunrooms and enclosures, and hardscaping.

We are based in Merrimack, and we serve communities throughout Southern New Hampshire, including Amherst, Bedford, Bow, Derry, Dunbarton, Goffstown, Hopkinton, Londonderry, and Mont Vernon. If you do not see your town, contact us to see if we serve your area.

Custom decks offer numerous benefits, including personalized design, enhanced outdoor living space, and increased property value. They provide a perfect space for relaxation, entertaining, and enjoying the outdoors, making them a valuable addition to any home.

Choosing materials for a custom deck depends on durability, maintenance, aesthetics, and budget. Common materials include pressure-treated wood, cedar, and composite decking. We use Deckorators composite decking materials because they are durable, require minimal maintenance, and come in a variety of colors and textures.

Custom deck designs include multi-level, elevated, pool, and covered decks. Options include outdoor kitchens, built-in seating and planters, pergolas and shade structures, lighting, and railings.

Multi-level decks offer enhanced visual appeal, increased functional space, and improved outdoor living experience. They allow for better utilization of sloped or uneven terrain, seamlessly integrating the deck into the landscape.

Several types of covers are available for decks. Popular choices include pergolas, awnings, and solid roofs. When choosing the right cover, consider factors like the level of protection needed and your home’s architectural style.

By installing an underdeck drainage system, homeowners can transform the space below their deck into a functional area suitable for various purposes such as storage, outdoor seating, or entertainment. This system diverts water away, keeping the area dry and protected from the elements.

Steel framing offers superior strength, durability, and longevity. Steel is resistant to warping, rotting, and insect damage, which are common issues with wood. This makes steel framing a more reliable and low-maintenance option. Steel framing can support heavier loads and span longer distances without the need for additional supports, providing more design flexibility. We use Fortress products.

There are several types of sunrooms. The main types are three-season sunrooms for use in spring, summer, and fall. They are not insulated for winter but provide ample sunlight and ventilation during the warmer months. Four-season sunrooms: These sunrooms are insulated and equipped with heating and cooling systems, allowing for year-round use. Screen rooms are enclosed with mesh screens instead of glass, providing an outdoor feel while keeping insects out.

A finished basement can be transformed into various types of rooms, such as a home theater, office, gym, or guest bedroom, enhancing the overall utility and appeal of the house. A well-finished basement can add significant value to your property, making it more attractive to potential buyers.
